Today is Safe Cycling Day!

About 2,000 cyclists donned the OCBC Cycle Singapore Safe Cycling jerseys this morning and gathered at 6am when the sky was still dark.

Promoting the message of “1.5M Matters. Share the Road”, they rode in support of the inaugural Safe Cycling Day organised by OCBC Cycle Singapore.

Aimed at raising the awareness of the need for both cyclists and motorists to respect each other on the roads, Safe Cycling Day is part of the OCBC Cycle Singapore Safe Cycling Campaign launched on 29 November by OCBC Bank and Spectrum Worldwide, title sponsor and organiser of Singapore’s mass cycling event which will be held in March next year.

Stay tuned for more on Safe Cycling Day…
