To celebrate the launch of the newest Sportback, Audi Singapore has partnered with renowned arts institute, LASALLE College of the Arts, to commission six of their Fine Arts students to create artwork that will be exhibited with the car. These student artists were tasked to offer their unique perspective on how elements of the Audi brand, and its focus on design and fashion come together in artistic excellence through the creation of a unique piece of art.

All six artworks were displayed at the Audi Centre Singapore during the media preview of the Audi A3 Sportback on 10th May. Hilmi Johandi’s artwork was chosen as the crowd favourite, garnering the most votes from guests.

The works will be displayed at the Audi Fashion Festival at Marina Promenade from 15th to 19th May as part of the launch of the Audi A3 Sportback in Singapore.

Another highlight of the launch includes the Audi A3 Sportback Driving Experience at the A3ttraktion Zone @ Audi Fashion Festival. Guests are invited to put the Audi A3 Sportback through its paces in a unique way on a specially designed obstacle course built on the F1 Pit lane. Worlds apart from a usual test-drive, the course is specially constructed to offer maximum enjoyment and excitement, and features a See-saw, Slalom, ABS station and Goal Post Shoot to make the first acquaintance with the car an unforgetable one.

Test-drive participants will also stand a chance to win a VIP package to the Audi Cup 2013, a two-day pre-season football tournament in Munich, Germany where some of the world’s best teams including FC Bayern Munich, Manchester City, AC Milan and FC Sao Paolo will compete. The winners will be on a pair of Pearl Business Class return air tickets from Singapore to Munich (via Dubai) on Etihad Airways – the world’s leading airline for the fourth year running.

This year, there is also a pocket-sized guide to the Audi A3 Sportback and the exciting activities happening around Audi Fashion Festival. Explore the car’s interior and exterior, personalise it and play a virtual driving game for a chance to win tickets to the closing show featuring Hussein Chalayan.
