Supercars and Luxury Timepieces in Good Company at Exclusive Watch Clinic

Super cars and fine watches, found an ideal pairing at the Ital Auto showroom last Thursday. The exclusive watch clinic event was jointly organized by Singapore’s official Ferrari importer, Ital Auto and international auction house Christie’s. Guests brought their favourite timepieces for appraisals by Christie’s watch specialist Sam Hines.

Sam Hines, Senior Vice President & Specialist Head of the Watches from Christie’s Hong Kong, was present and provided guests with private consultations as well as valuations of their watches. Tips on buying and selling at auctions, including how payments and shipments of items should be managed were also covered.

Rounding off the evening, a sit-down dinner presented guests with an exquisite three-course gourmet menu. Over dinner, an auction game brought the adrenaline of the auction floor to the guests. A friendly bidding war ensued, where victory went to the table with a bid closest to the actual price of each item.

The winning table wasted no time in making strategic bids and took home exclusive Ferrari merchandise as prizes, along with an appetite to participate in upcoming auctions. Truly, another timeless event by two of the world’s industry stalwarts, embodying the essence of cutting-edge technology and exquisite craftsmanship.
