Subaru’s Search for Singapore’s Female Stunt Driver

Written by Cheryl Tay on . Posted in Cheryl Tay News | Latest Industry News

In the days where extreme sports is on everyone’s lips, Subaru has begun a search for Singapore’s female stunt driver. After sending out a call to all ladies over 4 weeks, 10 female drivers will compete to become Singapore’s female stunt driver.

The ladies whose ages range from 28 – 35 will assemble at the F1 Pit Building Paddocks for 2 rounds of competition which will see them pit their skills against one another in trying to win the Title.

A driving coach will direct them on the criteria – to overcome the various driving obstacles including the slalom course, reverse parking, lane changing and u-turns within a specified time.

Prior to the obstacle course, each driver will also have to go through a gymkhana, a series of automobile tests to display their skills and driving aptitude. Four successful female drivers will be selected and sent for a skills-and-stunt driving course and one, will eventually be crowned the Winner.

The event is happening this Saturday, 13th November, 2010 at the F1 Pit Building between 9am and 1pm. I will be there to witness the action and cheer the girls on, GIRL POWER!!!
