The Hello Kitty Sweets cafe is a definite must for all fans of the famous cat…
With only one outlet in the whole of Taipei, it is highly advisable that you make a call for a reservation.
Our reservation was from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and this was our table:
As expected, the entire cafe reeked of Hello Kitty:
The toilet made for a good camwhoring spot, but I was surprised that the toilet bowls were not Hello Kitty shaped..
The best part about Hello Kitty Sweets is not the decor, but the creative Hello Kitty sweet treats! Upon entering the cafe, the pretty desserts sitting within the glass counters were already too cute to bear!
We ordered a variety of Hello Kitty dishes…
… from the sweets…
… to the savoury…
This side dish of escargots comes with the set, but too bad they aren’t of Hello Kitty shapes!
This curry stew served in roasted Hello Kitty bread was good…
There is this Hello Kitty burger on the menu that is called Kitty Sweets burger but it wasn’t available today unfortunately.
The desserts weren’t as yummy as they looked, but the savoury fare we ordered were quite satisfying on the palates.
For all of that, we paid about NT$1,150 (about S$52.30) – which is actually considered reasonable as there were 6 of us! Look at the bill folder – I was so tempted to take it back with me:
