Singapore, 1 March 2012 – Volkswagen owners and prospective customers will soon be able to enjoy the full Volkswagen experience at two convenient locations in Singapore.

A new Volkswagen Centre Singapore at 1 Kampong Ampat will commence operations in the second quarter of this year.

To be called Volkswagen Centre Singapore (MacPherson), the three-storey facility – with a gross floor area of 93,421 sq. ft. – will offer complete aftersales support as well as a showroom displaying the wide range of Volkswagen models.

The quality of service at the new dealership will mirror the high standards set by the current Volkswagen Centre Singapore (Alexandra). Customers can expect faster turnaround times, thanks to the large new workshop and an expanded aftersales team which cater to the growing number of Volkswagen vehicles on the road.

Some 40 percent of current Volkswagen owners live in the eastern part of Singapore, and Volkswagen Centre Singapore (MacPherson) will mean easier accessibility for these customers.

Volkswagen established a direct dealership in Singapore in 2007, and remains the only car brand here to retail directly to customers. In 2011, one in every 10 new cars sold in Singapore was a Volkswagen.
