Rotax Invitational Race 2012: Cheryl Tay’s photobook

The Southeast Asian kart racing season kicked off with the Rotax Invitational Race 2012 over the weekend and I was there to catch the action at Elite Speedway PLUS. It felt good seeing the same faces of the region – recognising many famiiar ones from Macau last month.

415275_10150505645752710_602152709_8543865_268782491_oBaking in the sweltering heat, I forgot my shades this trip so no ‘raccoon eyes’ but I got a sleeve tan instead! While shooting out on the track, I got bitten by mosquitoes and covered in dirt from the tyre walls and the dust from the race kart tyres.


But when I look at my photos, all that perspiration, dirt and bites are worth the while!
