Rhys Millen and Hyundai Genesis Coupe at 2011 Formula D Irwindale

After placing 5th in qualifying, Hyundai and Rhys Millen Racing had an exciting weekend of close races and intense competition. Rhys pushed his Genesis Coupe to its limits around the banks and hi-speed turns of Irwindale Speedway in front of a sold out crowd. After making it to the finals taking on Tyler McQuarrie and the Falken Tires 350z, Rhys pushed a bit too hard and touched the bank which cost him the 1st place win.
The team was very excited to end their 3rd season of competition in Formula Drift on a high note and they are looking forward to coming back this year and continuing the momentum.
