4 April 2012, Singapore – Musical icon KATY PERRY will draw to a close the three days of racing and entertainment spectacular with a concert at the Padang stage on Sunday, 23 September 2012 at the 2012 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. After the race champion is crowned at the podium, Katy Perry will bring the heat up a few more notches as she performs her chart-topping songs at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Fans can access the Padang concert as well as all entertainment offerings in Zone 4 with any ticket to the night race, priced from S$178 for a three-day Zone 4 Walkabout ticket.


Katy Perry is a global superstar whose two albums have generated a string of #1 hit singles and multi-platinum sales during the past four years. She has just concluded her sold-out “California Dreams Tour” with 124 arena performances internationally. The special edition Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection is currently in stores and features three new songs, including “Part Of Me.” Her 3D film, “Katy Perry: Part Of Me” will be in theaters worldwide this summer.


Katy Perry is the latest addition to join Singapore GP’s stellar entertainment line-up that includes Asian R&B king JAY CHOU, who will perform on Friday, as well as multiple Grammy-award winnerMAROON 5 who will perform on the Saturday of the race weekend. For the ultimate concert experience, fans can watch Katy Perry up-close at a specially demarcated Fan Zone right in front of the Padang stage. 2,000 Fan Zone wristbands, which provide guaranteed access to the Fan Zone, are up for grabs on Sunday. Early-bird ticketholders just need to register their ticket transaction number (listed on the confirmation email or receipt) on the Fan Zone page on www.singaporegp.sg.


The number of wristbands given to each registered patron will be equivalent to the number of tickets purchased. For example, a patron who purchased 10 tickets under the same transaction number will receive 10 Fan Zone wristbands. This offer will end once all 2,000 Sunday wristbands have been redeemed.



Just purchase any pair of Formula One tickets during the early-bird phase and stand a chance to win two exclusive passes to Katy Perry’s Meet & Greet session. There are six pairs of passes to be given away.


To participate in the lucky draw, early-bird ticketholders just need to register their ticket transaction number on the Meet & Greet contest page on www.singaporegp.sg by 30 April 2012 (11.59pm, Singapore time).



During the early-bird phase (now until 30 April 2012), tickets are priced from S$178 for a three-day Zone 4 Walkabout ticket to S$1,088 for a three-day Pit Grandstand ticket. By taking advantage of the Group Booking Special available for Pit, Padang, Bay and Esplanade Waterfront Grandstands, patrons can enjoy up to 30% savings. A Sunday-only Pit Grandstand special, priced at S$888, is also available for the first time enabling patrons to enjoy the race action as well as the entertainment throughout the circuit park.
