My first manga project – The Formula Drift Asia 2012 Graphic Novel

Written by Cheryl Tay on . Posted in Cheryl Tay Blog | Blog Post of Cheryl Tay

This year, Driftpac has launched a LIMITED EDITION Formula Drift Asia graphic novel! It’s a recap of last season and every single page is hand-drawn from scratch by local manga artist Pinax, while Marcus Lim (co-founder of Formula Drift Asia) and I worked on the text. It took us months to work on this but I’m so glad it’s done!!! Watch your favourite drifters turn into comic book heroes as they drift across the pages of this exclusive manga!

Look! I’m in it too!!!

Haha I especially like the one of me interviewing Dai Yoshihara, see the text? ;)

There is a special corresponding manga t-shirt design as well:

Launched at this weekend’s Formula Drift Malaysia, a series of sneak previews of last year’s Malaysia round was released on Formula Drift Asia’s Facebook page and blog:

If you are headed down to Formula Drift Malaysia, you can get your copy with a minimum purchase of official Formula Drift merchandise. Otherwise it will be available again at Formula Drift Singapore.

Meanwhile though, I have 5 copies to give away! You want one?

Answer this question – How many rounds were there at last year’s Formula Drift Asia 2011 season? Name them in order.

Send in your answer to by 27 May 2012, Sunday, 2359 hours, along with your name, age, mailing address, identification card number, contact number and email address.

This contest is open worldwide and postage is included.

Good luck!
