Of the two SLS AMGs from the Petronas Syntium team, this one led for most of the race until it encountered brake problems and dropped to 4th before getting back to 3rd when Clearwater Racing’s Ferrari 458 retired with just one hour to go.

It was the other SLS AMG from the Petronas Syntium team that emerged victorious in the last 15 minutes of the race (at the end of 12 hours) when the leading Audi R8 LMS (Biela/Werner/Fassler) got a punctured tyre and had to come into the pits for a tyre change!

Well done to Singaporean team ST Powered who finished first in the Touring Production class! It was a close fight between them and the Type R Ultra Racing team of Malaysia.
