A few weeks back, I received a really lovely invite in the mail:

It was an invite to the Magnum Singapore event for the opening of their Pleasure Store and also the launch of two new flavours – Magnum Pink (pink Marc de Champagne) and Magnum Black (black espresso).

I was highly impressed with the invite, which included a bottle of champagne, nail polish in black and pink, bowtie-shaped cufflinks in black and pink.

The opening of the Magnum Singapore Pleasure Store at Clarke Quay’s Central Fountain Square was held on 26 July, along with the launch of the new Magnum Pink and Magnum Black.

I bumped into familiar faces there, such as The Cambelles duo of Carrie and Rachie!

It is always nice to see your friends there, especially those who enjoy camwhoring as much as you do! We had fun at the photo booth!

So, you might be wondering, what is the Magnum Pleasure Store?

The Magnum Pleasure Store is basically a pop-up store concept that has been popular around the world, hence it was time to bring it to Singapore! The biggest highlight of the Pleasure Store is the ability of designing one’s very own Magnum. You start with an uncoated vanilla Magnum, then go through a unique six-step journey to indulge the senses in the sights, sounds and smells of Magnum chocolate and ice cream, to design your very own Magnum.

Thereafter, you can also have your very own Magnum creation seen through the Magnum Lookbook that has been specially created to allow digital capture and sharing of their unique designs online and at the store. On top of that, the Pleasure Store also serves up exquisite and sumptuous Magnum dessert creations and cocktails long into the night.

The Magnum Singapore Pleasure Store will be roving around Singapore. This one at Clarke Quay Central Fountain is the first one and will be there from 27 July to 26 August, open daily from 12pm to 11pm. For updates on the next location of the Magnum Bar, visit their Facebook page here.

After the grand unveiling of the Magnum Singapore Pleasure Store, it was time for the launch of the brand’s premium ice cream range – the Magnum Pink and the Magnum Black.

For those feeling fun and frivolous, The Magnum Pink, a pink Marc de Champagne ice cream with coated with a premium pearlescent pink layer of crackling Magnum chocolate sauce, is the prefect indulgent treat to bring out your exuberant bubbly side.

To match a more refined and elegant personality, The Magnum Black, containing intense black espresso coffee swirled in a smooth, creamy vanilla ice cream that is covered in the signature thick layer of crackling dark Magnum chocolate, is simply delectably decadent.

Magnum Pink and Magnum Black have been available islandwide from 1 August 2013.

Go try it!
