Late night shopping at Trial!

Written by Cheryl Tay on . Posted in Cheryl Tay Blog | Blog Post of Cheryl Tay

During my trip to Japan, I went late night shopping at this megamart called TRIAL. It reminds me of GIANT and CARREFOUR where they sell all sorts of things from food to toiletries to stationery to underwear and bicycles.

It’s open 24 hours so you can shop all you want at any time of the day really!

The things here are really cheap too! The cup noodles cost about $5++ for one in Singapore and here it’s about a dollar (after conversion).

Ooh that’s a LOT of chocolate and I remember these LOOK chocolates being quite pricey in Singapore.

For a very brief moment, I harboured the crazy idea of running straight into this display and smashing everything to the ground. Ok I’m just joking.

Alcohol alcohol alcohol…

See, it’s like Giant and Carrefour – clothes, underwear, shoes and all can be found here!

And there’s all the pretty Japanese-style stationery!

Unfortunately, not the entire store is available for shopping past a certain hour. :( :( :(

They fenced off the automotive accessories and also the children’s toys section… WHY?!

Just look at that – I see some potential purchases in the Hello Kitty stuff!

The personal grooming section was closed too! HRRRRRRRRMMMMPPPHHHHH, how can they do that..

Effectively, that means this is more of a late night FOOD shopping trip. Well, I did get some nail clippers and clothes, but it”s a good place to just walk around in if you are bored at 2am in the morning or something (although you ought to be sleeping by then!).
