Hangin’ Out with Thai superstar Pete Thongchua

I was at the launch of the new Michelin Energy XM2 tyre in Pattaya earlier this week and then I extended my trip to stay on in Bangkok and collect more content! Yesterday I was at BRC (Bangkok Racing Circuit) to meet Pete Thongchua, famous superstar and also key motorsports personality in Thailand.

He was filming the third episode of “Test It? with Pete”, a brand new TV series for Grand Prix Channel on cable, where he invited drifter Joe PTT to come on the show and battle with him.

Non and Amm of the M150 Overdrive team were there too, as Amm practised his drifts with Non looking on. I think it’s so convenient to have a place like that to practise drifting and test their cars.

Isn’t there somewhere in Singapore with an empty field big enough to convert into a drift pan? This circuit is also a go-karting track and I wished I could go karting around it!

Ok, Pete was kind enough to grant me an interview so stay tuned for it! Btw, he named his son Rotor, because he loves rotary engines!!!
