Get your Fiat Professional serviced correctly

Now that vehicle ownership prices in Singapore are getting higher, people would tend to hold on to their current rides longer. Many of us are guilty of using our cars daily and not sending it for regular servicing.

Servicing it regularly has its advantages, such as spotting a problem earlier and preventing a huge repair bill, improving fuel economy, prolonging your engine and more.

Servicing is not just about sending in your vehicle and having it checked. There are different mileage intervals and different parts get replaced.

Understanding the need to keep the vehicles in good shape on the road, Fiat Professional has come up with a menu of various servicing packages to suit their vehicles – like their Doblo, Doblo Maxi, Scudo, Fiorino and Ducato – all of which come standard with 31-point checks and tyre rotation.

One of the essential things in servicing is the engine oil change.

Engine oil for a vehicle is like the blood that runs through your body. It keeps the engine working properly, lubricating all movable parts inside the engine to protect it from wearing out and overheating.

Fiat Professional uses fully synthetic oil for their servicing packages. Consisting of smaller molecules and fewer additives, synthetic oil extends your vehicle life and performance compared to conventional oil. It works better under severe driving conditions and extreme temperatures, so as to enhance engine performance.

Other basics of vehicle servicing include changing of the oil filter, sealing gasket and fuel filter, which can all be found in the Fiat Professional servicing menu options. As the mileage increases, other parts such as air filter, engine coolant, brake fluid and more get changed.

Bringing your vehicle for regular servicing will help prevent breakdown and keep it longer on the road.

Fiat Professional’s servicing interval is at every 20,000km instead of the standard 10,000km, which translates to less downtime and inconvenience for owners as they do not have to bring the vehicle down so often.

Servicing starts from as low as less than one cent per kilometer (based on $688/80,000km) and all maintenance are done by technicians professionally trained by FIAT Professional.
