Here in Singapore to judge, Formula Drift USA star Dai Yoshihara also continued to canvass for support for Relief for Japan.
With the familiar donation box round his neck supported by the Falken tyre lanyard, Dai was giving out stickers, signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
He also did donuts around a SPARK Motorsports race queen, with $100 donated by Comfort DelGro Engineering (parent company of SPARK Motorsports) for each donut he completes. He achieved a total of 15 donuts!
That’s a lot of smoke and tyre dust for the race queen…
His signature hairstyle is hard to miss, but the humidity seemed to have made his hair less stiff and less straight than usual. Nonetheless, the trademark is still there.
It’s still not too late to donate to RFJ if you haven’t done so, just log on to www.rfjp.org.
Dai also spent some time hanging out with these cute bunnies:
Second-placed Non of Team M150 Overdrive thanks Dai for his tips!
And then Dai started chatting with Ken Gushi, babbling on in Japanese… good ol’ friends! They’ll see each other at Round 4 of Formula Drift USA pretty soon!
