Friday is the day when the cars start to come in and drivers register themselves – pits are allocated, cars sent for scrutineering and tech inspection, drivers attend compulsory briefing and media/VIP rides are given.
Once the Red Bull Drift Team Thailand was settled in, the drivers were asked to pose for some shots. Their captain Kiki Sak Nana is really good at this!
Kiki’s sweet girlfriend and ever-so-helpful team spotter!
Ivan Lau was also asked to pose after he was done with his registration:
All 44 drivers turned up with their cars (with the exception of Jane Cheah who had mothering duties, but her car was there) and it was interesting to see everyone unloading the containers and setting up their pits.
You should have a look at the RSR pit – they brought like half their workshop or something!
And look at Bullzai’s car livery – pretty?
