Ferrari Owners’ Club Singapore Year-End Dinner 2012

This is the first time that I’m attending a Ferrari Owners’ Club Singapore (FOCS) event and I must say, it is a tad overwhelming to see so many Ferraris at one time.

It was the year-end dinner for the club and some of them chose to meet at Ital Auto, local authorised dealer for Ferrari, for a little convoy to the dinner place.

I felt intimidated by all the prancing horses,  but I got to lead all of them in my little pinky S2000 because I was the photographer car with Adrian was shooting from my car with the top down.

Having so many Ferraris at one time on the streets is a really cool sight and many passers-by whipped their phones out to take photos.

After leaving Alexandra, traffic got heavier as we approached Shenton Way so the group started splitting up.

Eventually everyone arrived at Asia Square and parked in the driveway, lining up the entire space with as many Ferraris as possible.

The dinner was held at La Cantine on the ground floor of Asia Square, with tables set up outside the restaurant.

Everyone was in high spirits and there was a ‘live’ band playing. Lung, the president of FOCS, was playing the drums too. That’s something new.

There were about 120 over people at the dinner, to celebrate the closing of 2012. It’s always good to see like-minded people coming together for the same interest and in this case, it’s the love for the prancing horse!
