Eurokars Group of Companies, synonymous with premium automotive brands, introduced two models to the current Mazda Singapore line-up officially on 9 February – the highly popular Mazda 3, as well as the spacious Mazda 5 – in response to numerous enquiries from customers.
Having announced its sole distributorship of Mazda cars in Singapore in November 2011, the reintroduction of these two models is the Group’s first step in their goal to further elevate the brand image and awareness of Mazda in Singapore.
The Mazda 3 will be available in two specifications locally, the 1.6L Sedan and the 1.6L Hatchback, retailing at $118,988* and $121,988* respectively. The 2.0L Mazda 5 Sedan is available at $165,988* (*All prices are accurate as of 9th February 2012).

Since its global debut in 2008, the second-generation Mazda 3 has been recognized for its high degree of product quality and customer satisfaction. It inherits and evolves Mazda’s highly acclaimed sporty performance and exterior styling, contains an outstanding interior with greater quality and functionality, and offers advanced environmental and safety features. In planning the mid-cycle facelift, the development team reaffirmed that the standard bearer of the Mazda brand must offer both exhilarating driving and appealing design in addition to exceptional fuel economy. This facelift model redefines Zoom-Zoom driving pleasure with precision handling and positive response, as though the Mazda 3 were an extension of the driver’s own body.
For this model, Mazda has created continuous and smooth transitions between the G-forces felt under acceleration, cornering and braking. This consistent and linear driving feel is what is called Toitsukan in Japanese, and it extends to ensuring that engine torque rises in precise proportion to the force applied to the accelerator pedal. The Mazda 3 is now more pleasing than ever to use on a daily basis, thanks to its more linear behaviour, and also to improvements to its already impressive high-speed stability.
Mazda 5 has successfully established a distinct product image that earned it a solid position in the global MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) market. This is attributable to superior packaging and the unique functionality not found in other MPV offerings, including its flexible seat arrangements, sliding rear doors, stylish design, outstanding handling and high level of safety.
The development concept for this Mazda 5 was “Contemporary Smart Choice”. It reflects Mazda’s intention to create an eco-friendly minivan that every member of the family can enjoy. To achieve this, the development goals included stylish design; dual sliding rear doors; a flexible interior space with multiple seat arrangements; a smooth and pleasing sporty ride; and outstanding fuel economy. The result is a new type of family-focused people mover that can meet all the varied needs of families around the world.
The Mazda 5 incorporates motifs from Mazda’s “Nagare” (flow) design language that, inspired by the beauty of nature, presents an elegant look not found in any existing MPV. It is an appealing look that both captures the eye upon first glance and realizes outstanding aerodynamic performance.
