For once, I started packing more than 24 hours ahead of my flight! I pulled my luggage out and am actually almost halfway through. This third quarter of the year is just revving up harder as I fly out tomorrow to London then Turin in Italy before I ascend Australian land down under for the World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC).
It will be my first time attending the WTAC and I am really excited!
WTAC aside, I am in touch with Cosmic Performance, a team of motorsports specialists and enthusiasts based in Victoria, Australia. They have promised to let me get close to some of the cars that they are running at WTAC, together with Martini Racing.
Cosmic Performance provides various services ranging from ECU tuning to suspension setups to diagnostics and troubleshooting, with their work backed by testimonials on and off track.
In the lead-up to their WTAC participation, Cosmic Performance is running a special promotion for their newly-launched race and street spec coilovers. A result of being in development for several years and designed to perform even under extreme conditions such as in rallying or drifting, these coilovers are said to deliver supreme stability and ride comfort for your vehicle.
Finally ready to be released to the market, the coilovers have the following added touches:
· High Tensile Bolts
· High Tensile Bottom Plate
· Fully Customisable Spring Rates
· Mono Tube Inserts
· Steel Body
· Pre-Drilled Camber Slots (selected models only)
Commemorating this milestone, Cosmic Performance has launched a competition with two top prizes –
A set of Cosmic coilovers…
… and a Kamak turbo (altogether worth AUD 4,900).
How to participate?
Basically this will be conducted in a lucky draw style – there are 300 tickets available at AUD 10 each and the draw will be done at the end of the last day (11 August) at Eastern Creek. You can either pre-purchase your tickets online here or buy the tickets at the Cosmic Performance stand at WTAC. There are no limits to how many tickets you can buy, so the more you buy the higher your chances are.
This contest is open to everyone worldwide and postage will be covered to anywhere. Once the winner is drawn, the car model will be verified so the right parts will be sent over.
The boys at Cosmic Performance will also be introducing me to Martini Racing, an Australian-owned-and-operated automotive fuels and lubricants brand.
Do you find this logo familiar?
You probably have seen it on some of the cars at Formula Drift Asia or even at some Malaysian superlap events.
With their quirky “Liquid Horsepower” tagline, Martini Racing is a premium oil brand that increases horsepower and fuel efficiency for a quieter and smoother engine. I will pay them a visit when I’m there to look at their products and understand more!
Can’t wait for Australia!
