I’ve only ever owned only one Baby-G watch my entire life (since the one my mum bought for me when I was 10 during the time when the Baby-G craze hit the world hard) but have recently acquired my second one, thanks to a Baby-G blogging contest that I’ve been picked to be part of.
Each of us are given a Baby-G watch that will integrate into our lifestyles as we go about our various adventures. A watch to me is more than just a time-teller, as it has become like a daily companion, following me around the world when I travel and braving the heat and dirt from the motorsports events and races that I attend.
The 10 of us hail from different backgrounds and together I think we make quite a comprehensive bunch!
Over the years, Casio has done very well he designs of Baby-G watches vary from vibrant to cool, chic, cute and sophisticated.
Here are some of the watches that I was given to rank in order of preference for the campaign:
My first choice was no doubt Baby-G watch A, but due to popular demand and limited stock with a need for variety in the bloggers, I was given my second choice F – not too bad, I think it suits my sporty and outgoing personality.
There was a briefing last week for all the Baby-G bloggers so we could collect our watches and know who our ‘competitors’ are!
That’s me wearing my new Baby-G watch and admiring other Baby-G watches, which unfortunately I could not take home with me. This is Kiyomi Lim, only 17 years of age with a really cute high-pitched voice, who makes me feel OLD. I’m a whole eight years older than her! Gosh.
We had to bring a second outfit for the photoshoot, to showcase different sides of ourselves. For my second outfit I lugged my racing suit, complete with my awesome helmet and racing gloves.

Btw, do you think I can carry off this Hello Kitty Baby-G watch?
