Baby-G braves the heat in Sepang

Written by Cheryl Tay on . Posted in Cheryl Tay Blog | Blog Post of Cheryl Tay

From the cold weather in Motegi and Tokyo, my Baby-G goes straight into the heat at Sepang International Circuit with me for the Sepang 1000KM race.

The rain held back for a perfectly hot race (it was raining hard during qualifying the day before) and I was just cooking in the sun!

Saw the Baby-G watch I was wearing? It’s the black watch on my left wrist in the photos above! I spent about 6 hours of the 9-hour race walking around the track to take the best shots.

The Sepang 1000KM is an endurance race that was previously part of the 12-hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race.

Consisting of production cars below 1,900cc, driving duties are rotated between the drivers over the course of the nine-hour race. The winning car is the one which completes the stipulated 181 laps first.

Thank you Baby-G for helping me keep track of time…

Congratulations to all drivers who competed in the Sepang 1000KM race, especially the Singaporean drivers!
