The new 2012 MURANO is equipped with 2 engine variations – the VQ35DE and QR25DE. The 3.5L MURANO feature the VQV6 engine rated at 256PS and 336NM of torque, while the 2.5L MURANO is equipped with a QR25DE engine, with a maximum power output of 170PS and a maximum torque of 245NM. Both 3.5L and 2.5L MURANOs come equipped with advanced XTRONIC CVT that provides sporty and smooth driving experience.
The MURANO is built on Nissan‟s proven “D” platform, which provides a solid foundation and lightweight suspension components, dual flow path shock absorbers and a twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system. It also comes equipped with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) as well as Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) as standard.
