Fans of Audi and Volkswagen cars with a penchant for high performance and customisation along with deep pockets will have great reason to cheer as ABT Sportsline (ABT), specialist in motorsports and customisation of premium cars, officially launched its first Singapore showroom today – making it one of 15 ABT showrooms worldwide.

Having invested S$1.5 million into this showroom at One Commonwealth, ABT is targeting the “growing demand for customised premium cars in Singapore despite rising COE prices”. A range of fully customised Audi and Volkswagen models by ABT are available and all ABT cars are supported by the official Audi after-sales service.

Each ABT car is carefully assembled by their engineers and boasts proven racing credentials from the motorsports technology adapted for daily driving. The latest drool-worthy ABT car is the ABT AS7, an Audi A7 modified to 420bhp with a top speed of 280km/h.

Customers can also choose to add on other modifications such as aerodynamic kits, lowering suspensions, sports exhaust systems and interior accessories that are TUV-certified and compliant with the Land Transport Authority’s regulations in Singapore.

From now until 27 November 2011, all ABT car purchases from the new ABT showroom include a complimentary trip to Germany, complete with air fare and accommodation for the opening race of the 2012 Season of DTM in Hockenheim, Germany as well as a VIP tour of the ABT headquarters in Kempten, Germany.

The fourth-generation CEO in this family business Mr. Hans-Jurgen Abt said, “This showroom in Singapore is a key milestone in the company’s expansion in Asia, following the unveiling of a similar facility in Taiwan earlier this month. ABT has 115 years of history and motorsport success, cementing its position as the global leader in premium car tuning.

“Asia is a very important region in our growth plans and Singapore in particular is a market with enormous potential for growth in the customised car sector, with consumers demanding cars that are tailored to their performance and styling needs.”
