The best deals in the car market gathered in one area, free admission, free goodie bags and sexy race queens make the absolute recipe for a successful mega automotive carnival. Fulfilling this formula was the recently-concluded CATS Classifieds Car-nival which pre-owned car specialist Urban Motors was part of.

It’s the first time that Urban Motors participated in the CATS Classifieds Car-nival and managing director Benjamin Yeo shares about the benefits of such mega exhibitions for the business and the industry.

Bringing down a mix of 18 cars to be sold, Urban Motors had a 12-strong sales team on the floor for the one-day event held at Singapore Expo Hall 5.

Q: How did the whole CATS Classifieds Car-nival go for Urban Motors?

A: CATS Car-nival was a successful event – Given that we are a newbie on the block, we managed to get our name exposed to the public and we also boosted our sales through this one-day event. It was definitely a double win situation for us.

Q: What were the targets set and were they met?

A: The target was to sell 16 cars and collect as many leads as possible. I must give praise to my hardworking sales team for their efforts that day as we managed to close 10 deals that day. Most importantly, it gave all of us a good experience to work intensively as a team for this event.

Q: Why do you think such carnivals are good for the business?

A: This one-day event brought a lot of people together and gave us a platform to promote ourselves, as well as boosted our sales. There is a misconception that people often have about pre-owned car dealers, but through such events, it gives us an opportunity to introduce ourselves and show our sincerity and display our service-oriented philosophies, giving them good choices of cars that define themselves and their lifestyles.

A: One is just as good as they always say good thing comes in portions.

Q: This is the first time Urban Motors is participating in a mega car event, why the sudden decision to take part in it?

A: This year is a very special year for us as we have established ourselves in many ways. Therefore, as another step to further push ourselves to the next level, we decided to participate in this annual carnival.

Q: Moving forward, will Urban Motors want to take part in more of such mega car events if possible?

A: If given the opportunity, yes we will.
